TUEM

PROJECT: TUEM Villas
LOCATION: Tuem, Bardez-Goa
YEAR: 2019 (Unbuilt)
BUILT-UP AREA: 10000 m²
PROJECT TYPE: Multi-residential
Perched on a naturally undulating, steep site, the proposal introduces a plotted development featuring 20 self-contained ultra-luxury residences at higher levels and sleek apartments at lower levels of the Tuem hill. The sloping terrain is ingeniously utilized, creating rows of residences at different levels, providing both motorable and pedestrian access, fostering privacy and interconnectedness. Every residence features a private pool and a small green sanctuary enclave, complementing essential amenities. It is crowned with a distinctive large, single sloping roof inspired by Goan aesthetics designed to accommodate heavy rain. The design revolves around a communal focal point—a vast orchard turned tranquil water body—enriching the landscape with nature-friendly elements. A long winding walking track conjoins many landscaped pockets all along the centre, effectively using designated no-development areas of the property.
